Yes! All Amélie patterns are formatted as high-resolution, vector-compatible PDF documents. They look crisp on iPad, tablet (e.g. GoodNotes, Notability, Apple Books, Kindle), laptop, and mobile devices.
They are also pre-formatted for printing on standard US Letter or A4 paper with high-contrast, easy-to-read typography.
First, please check your spam, junk, or promotions folder as automated order emails sometimes get filtered there.
If you still cannot locate it, you can log in to your Amélie account or simply email us at support@amelie-crochet.com with the email address you used during purchase, and we will resend your download link within 24 hours.
No expiry, no limits! Once you purchase a pattern, you enjoy unlimited lifetime access. You can re-download your files whenever you get a new device or want a fresh printable copy.
Any future pattern errata or formatting improvements we release are also available to you at no extra cost.
All of our patterns are written using standard US crochet terminology (e.g. Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet, Double Crochet).
To support our international makers, every pattern includes a handy US-to-UK terminology and metric conversion table on page 2.
Every garment pattern includes a comprehensive schematic diagram and finished garment measurement chart.
We specify recommended positive ease (typically 4–8 inches for a relaxed luxury drape). We recommend measuring your actual bust measurement, adding the suggested ease, and picking the corresponding size. For an oversized look, size up one size.
Yes! You are warmly welcome to sell finished handmade items created from our patterns in small artisan batches (at craft fairs, local boutiques, or on your Etsy shop).
We only ask that you kindly credit Amélie Crochet as the original pattern designer. Mass factory production or reselling/distributing the PDF pattern itself is strictly prohibited by international copyright law.
Absolutely. While we test and photograph our pieces using specific natural yarns (such as DK weight cotton-acrylic or worsted merino), you can substitute any yarn that achieves the specified pattern gauge.
We provide total yardage/meterage requirements and fiber drape characteristics in each pattern description so you can shop your stash or favorite local yarn store with confidence.
Every crocheter holds their hook and tensions yarn slightly differently. Crocheting a quick 4" × 4" (10 × 10 cm) swatch ensures that your finished cardigan or blanket matches the intended dimensions and prevents you from running out of yarn midway.
If your swatch has too many stitches per inch, your tension is tight—switch to a hook 0.5mm larger. If your swatch has too few stitches, your tension is loose—switch to a hook 0.5mm smaller.
Because digital patterns are delivered instantly upon purchase and cannot be returned, all digital pattern sales are generally final once downloaded.
However, we are human! If you accidentally purchased duplicate copies of the same pattern, or encounter any technical issue opening your PDF, contact us immediately and we will promptly assist or refund the duplicate order.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal through encrypted, bank-grade checkout processors.
